Rest in Peace Papa Francesco

In the early morning of Monday of the octave of Easter, Pope Francis was called by God to be in His presence. It will not be easy to replace him given his charisma, love, humility, simplicity, human quality, and many other qualities that the Supreme Pontiff had. My commitment and yours is to ask God to give us a new Pope that does not fit what I want or according to my needs, because in doing so, it would be impossible for us to have a Pope. Our commitment is to ask God to give us a Pope, who adjusts to what He wants, since He knows our needs; a Pope for the entire world, who represents Him on earth. Whoever the new Pope is, we must pray for him and for his mission so that he can fulfill it with love and wisdom. Let us pray deeply for the election of the new Pope; let us pray for our Cardinals, so that they put
themselves at the feet of Christ and under the presence of the Holy Spirit, especially when choosing the new Supreme Pontiff.

God’s Gift
This weekend, our parish was blessed with the gifts of the First Communion and Confirmation. We ask for much prayer for them and their families, so that the Holy Spirit acts on them now and forever. Thanks to those who made this gift from God possible. Blessings to all. Question: How great is my mercy with others?

We are a week away from the Cinco de Mayo festival, and we still have a lot of raffle tickets remaining – 2800 to be exact. We also need sodas, water and especially your presence. I hope to see you next Saturday. Please invite friends and family.
