A Prayer of Solidarity during this Pandemic
For all who have contracted coronavirus,
We pray for care and healing.
For those who are particularly vulnerable,
We pray for safety and protection.
For all who experience fear or anxiety,
We pray for peace of mind and spirit.
For affected families who are facing difficult decisions between food on the table or public safety,
We pray for policies that recognize their plight.
For those who do not have adequate health insurance,
We pray that no family will face financial burdens alone.
For those who are afraid to access care due to immigration status,
We pray for recognition of the God-given dignity of all.
For our brothers and sisters around the world,
We pray for shared solidarity.
For public officials and decisionmakers,
We pray for wisdom and guidance.
Father, during this time may your Church be a sign of hope, comfort and love to all.
Be with us, Lord.

Business Office & Church Information
Welcome New Parishioners!
Please contact Livier Orendain in the office for information on registering with our parish, at 706-865-4474. She is in the office Tuesday through Friday, 9am – 2pm. We suggest you take a few minutes to browse the links on this site, and see what activities Saint Paul offers which may interest you! The Ministries link will show you volunteer opportunities and other information. Religious Education (SOR) welcomes you to help teach catechism, or assist as a sub. Registered parishioners receive yearly envelopes, and we also encourage parishioners to use our Online Giving. We look forward to seeing you at Saint Paul!
Sign Up for Our New Communication App!
Look for this image on our Home page and Click!
We are happy to announce that we have partnered with Diocesan Publications for receipt of a free app for our parishioners, visitors and friends. You can one-click for a direct download of this app through Google Play or the App Store; find the buttons on the left side of the Current Events page (home page). After downloading to your Smart phone, choose St. Paul the Apostle parish as the church, and you will be in touch! You will find direct links to instant texts from the parish, updates on information, reminders, and access to our website. You can also download other information, like the daily readings. Another great tool for communication for our parish — try it on your Smart phone. Stop by the office if you need help.
Safe Environment Procedures
The Archdiocese of Atlanta is committed to helping children and young people learn and grown in a healthy and safe environment. St. Paul parish complies with diocesan safe environment policies and procedures.
Ministry Leaders and others are welcome to publish pertinent information in the parish bulletin. All information can be submitted via email to Livier Orendain (direct click on her email from home page). Livier will get approval from Father Fabio for ad. If you are interested in submitting an ad in the bulletin, deadlines are MONDAYS for the following weekend. Thank you!
Parish Hall Kitchen Request
Please, take the time to sign in on the sheet we have on the refrigerator in the kitchen. The person responsible for reserving the hall or the kitchen needs to be the one to sign in. Please also remember to wash the kitchen towels and bring them back. Also, we need everyone’s help. We really need to conserve energy. And one little reminder, please remember to reserve the hall or the kitchen in advance. Please, we ask that we continue to work as a team, and we ask that we work together on this English and Spanish speaking. Your time and help is greatly appreciated! Blessings, Father Fabio
This application will provide you a convenient free option that you may access, change or cancel at any time. Your offertory gift will be transferred from your credit card or bank account directly to your parish. There will be no need to share any sensitive account information. The link is located on the right margin on the home page of this website – look for Secure Online Giving. You will need to create an account for yourself, through a login and password. Not only can you make your Sunday donation through this link, but you can also give to other ministries or charities in your parish. You can change your amounts at any time, by yourself. End the last-minute search for those envelopes, and try Online Giving! If you have questions or need help, please contact Livier or Laurie in the office.
If you would like to purchase flowers on the altar for a special occasion and need a florist, you are welcome to call Susan Hage of Artistic Flowers (770-656-9970) at 575 Helen Highway, Cleveland. She is a parishioner, and offers a special price for altar flowers.
Please see Weddings tab on this site; or call the office to schedule your wedding and have any questions answered.
Anyone desiring a baptism is asked to call the office during business hours to schedule. A one-hour baptism preparation class is required, as well as a copy of the birth certificate of the person desiring the sacrament. For Spanish speakers, the class is generally held on the last Saturday of the month, with baptism to follow the next day, after the 12:30 pm Mass. Please use this link for the registration form: Baptism Registration Form
Please remember that, in view of the new Archdiocesan ‘Safe Environment’ regulations, it is required to have another adult, such as the parent, present when meeting with children for rehearsals, instruction, or other events.
Policy on Group Emails
If you plan on sending out a group or mass email to parishioners, please contact the office before doing so, unless it concerns a particular ministry, such as Knights of Columbus or Women of Saint Paul.
Parish Hall Use
The parish hall calendar is posted online, and a paper copy is at the office. Do not use the parish hall without first booking a reservation through the office. We would prefer to have at least one week’s notice for your event. If you use the education center, Our Lady of Grace, for an event, it must be left in the condition it was found in; same number of chairs and tables, empty trash, turn off lights and heat/AC, and please remove any food or drink. Please leave it clean and tidy for the next group. If your group is using the parish hall, please make sure that you know what is expected so that you can leave the hall as it was found. Rules about parish hall use are posted in the hall and kitchen areas. Following the procedures will ensure we won’t have problems with pests, odors, etc. and these areas will be available for everyone to use.
