Hot Breakfast served after Sunday Masses: 2nd Sunday of every month
On Sunday, July 11, our Knights of Columbus Council 11676 received an achievement award from the Georgia District Supreme Knight on 25 years of service to the parish and community. Many don’t know realize how much the Knights contribute in terms of raising money, helping with special project funding for our parish, assisting the poor in the White County community, social events for the church, group prayer for parishioners, and many other needs. They currently are raising money for a much-needed ultrasound machine for Cleveland Care Center (see ad on this page). If you see a Knight at Mass, congratulate him! And better yet, if you are a Catholic man, prayerfully consider volunteering with this worthwhile organization. Contact: Mike Butcher at 706-969-5784.
The Knights of Columbus are currently raising money for a new ultrasound machine for the Cleveland Care Center. The Cleveland Care Center offers free, confidential pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, and is located on Main Street in Cleveland. Many babies have been saved, and women given caring assistance from this agency (www.clevelandcarecenter.com). The Knights are asking all of us for help in achieving their goal of $40,000 for this new machine. Recently, $1700 was raised during the Knights on Bikes event. Won’t you please consider a donation? You may stop by the church office during the week, or put cash or a check in an envelope labeled “Knights” and place it in the offertory basket in the narthex. *All checks should be made payable to: Knights of Columbus. Thank you!
